Re:Medication for Galette-Chambon 6 Months, 1 Week ago
Lynn here, Will need translator(s) also. Yes, it would mean a lot but is it our call from God for this trip? What about security? Be sure people take their passports with them. Extra cost for the transportation. Is Gallette Chambon in our (Haiti council member"s or N4C's) call/vision or is it Vwazen Nou's? These are not the same. Power of God Church and its 2 partners have it as their call.

From Jamie at Quisqueya...

1. I am aware of your addition, so please don't worry. I will update the database as soon as I can.

2. I believe you will be placed in a classroom, but that may change.

3. People who need to contact you should call: 011-509-3773-4664 or 011-509-3619-3431. They will be put in touch with you as soon as possible.

4. I will make a note of your 3 Sunday arrivals. Please have them call 509-3619-3431 as soon as they get in. [not to get a ride, but to get let into the gate at the school.]

Re:haiti 2010 followup 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago
More follow-up:

1. Is everyone recovering well or has anyone had ill after-effects? I am still suffering sore throat with laryngitis, but that's all.

2. Team party: it seems that we must wait until the weekend after Easter. Is Sun. 11 April open for everyone?

3. Does anyone know the outcome of the following:
- Polar Pures water purifiers?
- tents / tarps?
- solar radios?
- audio bibles?
- missing narcs?

4. For those who bought supplies and need compensation (or trip cost reduction) please tell me the amount and things you have receipts for. I am trying to do accounting for the trip.

5. Christianity Today has an interesting article on Haiti. http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2010/march/4.17.html

Re:Haiti 2010 planning duties 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Lynn here, As for the tents, polar pures, tarps, etc, they were left with the church to distribute. The missing meds were never found.
How do you want our reports filed? Mine will be page(s) long.
I have an achey cold also.
Who is doing a travel details report? Who is doing Gallette? Lynn

Pretty much the same with me, not much of a voice, sore throat. Because of that I didn't have a chance to tell everyone how wonderful it was to serve along side of you. I especially thank Deborah, Christine and Michael (and Castride even though she'll never read this) for being so diligent in the pharmacy and for the grace and care from the Dr.s; Steve, Russ, Patrick and Bekah (you rock), when we had questions. And yes, even Bill, who I know was a tremendous help and encouragement to many hurting people (hey Bill, why didn't I ever get that bracelet from the guy at the airport?? : ). And of course the interpreters, John and Nadine, without whom, we could never adequately communicate. Thanks too to our friends from VA , Lyn, Patrick and Anna, who's lives are already so entwined with our brothers and sisters in Haiti. Even though this trip held it's share of challenges, I can't help but think how much we still have to learn from our Haitian family about how to respond to tragedy, hardship and suffering. "Count it all joy brethren...."
